Northern Health and the First Nations Health Authority recently combined forces to issue a Toxic Drug Alert for the Town of Smithers.
The alert was issued due to a dark blue drug that has been sold as “down” and it’s said to be much stronger than expected while also having highly sedative effects that last for extended periods.
The alert is set to last until December 22nd.
