The Terrace RCMP believe that Noel departed on foot from his residence in the area of Muller Ave in Thornhill. It is suspected that he may have been heading to the Skeena River, however, his route of travel is unknown.
Police are seeking CCTV from the public and asking residents and businesses in that area of Thornhill to check any surveillance from the day of February 6, 2026 to see if Grant can be seen walking in the area and help determine the direction of travel. Any dash camera footage from the area on this day should also be checked.
Grant is reported to have left his residence at approximately 10:30 am on that day.

The Terrace RCMP recently revealed that they are looking for public assistance to find a missing man.
The missing man in this case is named Noel Ross Grant and he was last seen on February 6th wearing a black jacket with a fur hood, blue boots, and aviator glasses as he went on a walk.
Grant has been described as a 69 year old Indigenous man who is 5 foot 8, weighing about 161 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
