Skeena MLA Claire Rattée has publicly released a statement that addressed John Rustad’s recent decision to step down as leader of the BC Conservative party.

She formally expressed her gratitude to Rustad for everything that he has done for the conservative movement in the Province of British Columbia.

She also sincerely wished Rustad success in whatever he does next.

She last professed confidence that the party’s interim leader, Trevor Halford, will be able to bring stability as the party prepares to enter the next stage of their existence.
